Project Mikkel
Project Mikkel is a sea monkey-like developed in PICO-8. This game blends idle and virtual pet style interactions. Interact, observe and rule over your tiny band of Mikkels, a strange new culture of creatures.
- Feed your Mikkels their favourite treats kibbies and watch them grow! (Kibbies are not suitable for human consumption. In the event of actual ingestion, say goodbye to your loves one and prepare for the split.)
- Observe their behaviours, with colorful dialogue based on each creature's personality type. What kind of Mikkels will you propagate? Fanatical followers? Giga-mikkels? The grating influencer? Or perhaps the babygirl (occasionally prone to cannibalism).
- Punish and reward your Mikkels, it's up to your how you treat this experiment, the dome is entirely impenetrable, you are safe!

Fun and wholesome little game. I love the art direction and overall vibe that this game has. The little touches like the Mikkels running away from the fire and their thoughts changing to reflect the situation was great.
